One thing I often write about in my newsletter is the importance of having a solid team behind you. A great team means that you don’t have to do everything yourself, allowing you to work on more important business-building activities.
I’ve added a few more members to my team over the last few weeks. As someone who likes everything accurate and to expected standards, I admit it was quite scary at first to hand the reigns over on a number of activities that up until now, I had been doing myself.
While I had my initial reservations, I recognised that this was an important step for me personally and one that would enable my business to continue growing. So, I needed to get out of my own way and allow other people, just as capable, to step in and manage these activities. I am pleased to say, I now feel more energised, can spend time on more important activities, AND am seeing great results in the areas my new team members are managing. Pretty cool, right?!
